The Promotions Committee organizes three main events during the year.
The first event is Clean-up Colebrook Day, which is on a Saturday in April or May. We have been doing this clean up day for a few years now and volunteers all get together and pick up the garbage that has accumulated on the side of the roads throughout the winter. At noon, a complimentary 'thank you' lunch is enjoyed by all of the volunteers. The volunteers work very hard and we can all appreciate their hard work to get our town looking its best.
The Harvest Fair, the first Saturday in October, is an opportunity for crafters, artisans, farmers and business owners to sell their quality products, produce, talents and the special diversity of the Great North Woods to the public. This event would not be complete without the annual Chili/Chowder Challenge, 50/50 Raffle and Vendor Raffle. Live music creates a wonderful ambiance while you're shopping for unique, regionally created products and gifts.
The committee also organizes the Snowflake Festival in December when many stores offer special sales and discounts. There are various happenings going on in town that make this an enjoyable family event and supports the Colebrook downtown merchants. PLEASE SEE OUR HOME PAGE FOR MORE DETAILS AND UPDATES.
